My name is Ryan O’Toole, I am 18 years old and I created RAO Ideas 3 years ago. With your help, I have been able to fund and earn my private pilot's license and have a ton of great experiences along the way. My business venture began when I went flying with my dad in his plane and he was always very frustrated by how the controls for super expensive aviation headsets were just left to flop around, get stuffed in pockets, or fall between seats. Adjusting the controls usually took two hands, one to find and retrieve the control, and the other to make adjustments. After not finding anything online, I decided to design and make a headset control holder to solve my dad’s pain. He loved them and shared them with a friend who posted them online. Word started spreading throughout the flying community and I started getting requests for more. I now have models for 8 different headsets and have sold them to pilots around the world.
